Is eminem that bad of a person?

I'm a huge eminem fan. My parents however, don't approve. Listening to his music has affected me for the better. I've read his autobiography and it explains a lot about why he acted the way he did. He really has changed. My mom gets mad because I buy his uncensored songs without her knowing, and she thinks he is a bad influence and an . I'm a 15 year old girl, I should be able to listen to whatever I want! Whenever I listen to him, my dad will tell me to "turn that **** off". I don't think eminem really is that bad of a person anymore, I think he has actually become a very good person over the years..
