Itunes authorization problem; Please help!?

Hello. Yesterday, my friend gave me some ipod touch apps that he had bought so that I don't have to buy them myself. When my computer was doing a backup, it said "some of the purchased items couldn't be transfered to your itunes library because it's not authorized." Even after authorizing my itunes, it still says that each time. Please Help!!! Thanks!
