Name of a video game for the old sega genesis?

this game involved walking through a 3d maze, killing monsters that as they pop up and going back out to trade in the town. I can't remember much of the details but I remember that one of the monsters were slimes, and they would be blue or red or crystal. With the blue being the easiest to kill and the crystal being the hardest but the crystal slimes gave the greatest hit points and gold pieces. does anybody remember this game?
